These events typically include time for prayer, worship, fellowship, and spiritual enrichment through guest speakers, music, and other activities. Rosary Blanket of Prayer
The Rosary Blanket of Prayer is a call for each Magnificat chapter to designate one day of the month for concentrated prayer, fasting, and adoration. While daily prayer is encouraged, this day should be specifically set aside for prayer. All members of Magnificat Greensburg are invited to join in praying the rosary and fasting, if possible, on the 19th of every month, which is the Greensburg Chapter’s designated day for the Rosary Blanket of Prayer. The intentions for this prayer effort include A “New Pentecost,” the Church, Magnificat, Sanctity of Life, Family, Our Country, and World Peace. Participants are urged to pray with great confidence based upon the goodness and infinite generosity of God and upon the promises of Jesus Christ.
“Pray with great confidence, with confidence based upon the goodness and infinite generosity of God and upon the promises of Jesus Christ. God is a spring of living water which flows unceasingly into the hearts of those who pray.”
— St. Louis de Montfort
