Welcome to the Magnificat Greensburg website!

We are a Catholic women’s ministry that seeks to encourage women to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and to serve the Church through prayer, fellowship, and loving service. Our purpose is to be a means through which Catholic women who have been awakened by the Holy Spirit operating in their lives can share with others the good news of salvation and impart the Holy Spirit to one another. Our ministry is open to all women who strive to incorporate the purposes and objectives of Magnificat into their lives and who agree to pray for Magnificat and its members. We do not charge dues and rely on free-will donations to subsidize our activities.

Our local chapter of Magnificat is led by a service team consisting of dedicated volunteers who coordinate various aspects of our events, including hosting, ushering, decorations, publicity, photography, prayer chain ministry, membership, ministry of care, recording/duplicating, and website management. We are also blessed to have a spiritual advisor, Reverend Daniel C. Mahoney, who provides guidance and support to our members.

Our main events are quarterly meals featuring inspiring speakers who share their faith journeys and insights into the Catholic faith. As a chapter, we provide a variety of volunteer ministry opportunities. We also partner with other ministries, such as the Living Praise Music Ministry, to spread the faith.
